Who has a housekeeper?

1. You may be surprised to know that our clientele range from young working families to retired couples to families with disabilities. Heaven Scent's services are as unique as each client we serve.

How much does housekeeping cost?

1. Housekeeping costs range depending on the needs of our client. We will tailor your housekeeping and work with you to stay on budget. We charge an initial rate of $33 an hour. If you are pleased with our services and have us back within a timely fashion (1 month or less) we modify our rate to $28 an hour.  Post construction clean up AND one time deep cleanings rate is $50 an hour. 

Do you have a minimum?

1. Although we do not have a hard rule about minimums we are hard pressed to find a client that is less than 4 quoted hours (biweekly). We do review each situation individually, but please keep this in mind when making financial decisions about your housekeeping. 

How do you calculate your time?

1. We begin charging from the time we pull in until the time we pull out. This includes our time to set up and tear down all our equipment.  

2. We also charge for time overall, not hours on site. This means that if you have 3 housekeepers in your home for 2 hours your charge will be for 6 hours (3x2=6).  So although we would only be in your home for 2 hours, 6 hours worth of work would be accomplished. 

Who provides the cleaning supplies?

1. Heaven Scent provides any and all supplies necessary to clean your home. In the event that you require a special cleanser or wish to use something different than we do, we ask that you keep that particular item stocked for us. 

How long will it take you to clean my house?

1. Each client is unique. We will go over your individual needs and plan on the best course of action.  Please refer back to  "Do you have a minimum" and "How do you calculate your time". 

How often should I get my house cleaned?

1. That is entirely up to YOU! Heaven Scent has biweekly and once a month clientele. We also do special one time projects as needed. Most clients find that a biweekly cleaning keeps their home fresh and also fits their budget. 

Do I have to be home while you clean?

1. Nope. We are happy to have you available if you want to be home, but many of our clients prefer to have us come while they are at work or out running errands.

 Is there anything you DON'T do?

1. Yes, we do not do windows. We will take care of general fingerprints on entry doors and high traffic areas, but we do not do windows in their entirety. If you are interested in window washing we are happy to refer you to our local specialist.  

2. Our liability insurance does not allow for us to climb up more than a 2 step step-ladder. Any light fixtures or dusting that would require more than a 2 step step-ladder we will be unable to do.
